The design of this adaptive reuse project started when construction was already underway creating an atypical chronology: designing for a renovation of spaces that had yet to be constructed. A series of distinct interventions were introduced at strategic moments of the on-going construction process. This additive process layered new surfaces and objects onto the unfolding spatial framework. The episodic interventions within the two-story volume dance in physical and temporal proximity to one another.
